Smug Life

We all love a bit of a party-starting re-rub of an old favourite from time to time. Some of my earliest rave memories are of this tune closing the night at the legendary Boutique, bobbing away with my rucksack on before facing the wind and rain on Brighton Beach, and waking up fresh, sans comedown and ready to take on the world as if a previous night's debauchery had never happened.

I'm a little more jaded these days, much like my buddy Matt Walsh who comprises one half of Clouded Vision alongside Steve Cook. Not only are they releasing awesome acid flashbacks on Turbo, they're also finding the time for tongue in cheek fun like this.

I'd also like to mention that i finally got my finger out of my backside and completed a mix for the brilliant Modifer series. The forum kids have branded it 'smug-house', which means we might have to endure another 3 month storm of pointless labelling, but at least it's a funny phrase, and the artistic demands of the blog make it seem pretty fitting. I hope you'll agree this is a nice 80 sojourn for the car, or the kitchen though.
