sometimes i'm so happy not to be living in Paris (ie right now : the strikes) but then at other times i'm quite sad not to be living in Paris (ie right now too : partylife). tomorrow in Paris, i expect you guys to ride your bikes and gather up near the grand old stairs above le Showcase cos tomorrow at le Showcase DJ Mehdi, Chromeo, Raekwon the chef and Will.i.am (lol!) are playing at le Showcase, and i won't be able to come because you know i always chose essays about degenerate arts over a fancy footwork aye? full report, k. tomorrow is Idibi's birthday too, so wish him a good one.
yeh so the funny thing is that if i was going, i'd be most excited to see Chromeo play hmmm. which they do at 8pm so come early. that's probably cos i've never seen them in a real live show right? although i've never seen Raekwon either, ah. aaaaand i'm also missing them at La Scala de Londres next wednesday the 28th (my birthay btw) by one day only (me/london/next weekend/parties?), curses! but i know i know my time will come, faith is real and in the meantime bordeum bedroom dance parties will soothe the pain. isn't it strange, how chromeo's remixes, or rather, remixes of chromeo tunes, are getting better and better? c'est vrai. this one's a 9 minutes journey. epic.
