the fluokids/ed banger party was a total success, thank you to all who came, especially to those who came to the basement room and sweated it out with us and the walls. i dont have much to say today, except that sweden next week is on, yo it's on motherfucker, yo it's on and AM I ever so excited. ALSO. i announce here and now that i will be spending this summer (but winter there awww) in sydney, aus, interning for modular. OMG right? i freak out around 124 times a day everyday thinking about it. to celebrate, here's two presents from some of our kindest, most talented aussie friends.
as i previously said in here, i absolutely love the latest cassius album. and i am quite bummed that their parisian concert will be on the same night as our (amazing) paris paris party, on march 9th. what were the chances? makes me wanna cry a bit (chose your side soonish though, i warn you). the lovely KIM made the prettiest remix one could do of this track and gave it to me just before heading to a secret beach house to record the new presets album, how awesome. cassius are touring australia atm, presets will be in france in april, rock on.

this was one of the most awaited remix of 2007, and rightly so. utah saints were pure genius, i <3 kate bush, and van she tech makes my world 200% better therefore this = heavy rotation. hotness soon due to come out on the banggang 12" series, so stay tuned and keep your paypal account full. also, don't forget to check out the AMAZING tiga vst remix on their myspace. one year later, still fire.

saw a bit of cassius last weekend at good vibes goldcoast. hot in more ways than one! id have to say my highlights were van she, cut copy, ajax and beastie boys.
us aussies are kickin ass.
the presets played a few new tracks when i saw them at bdo. pretty good but its hard to say how they will shape up against their old hits.
